Mike'd Up (2 September 2008 to present) is the afternoon drive sports radio program based out of WFAN in New York City that features Mike Francesa. The show is simulcast on the YES Network. On the radio, the show is simulcast on WQYK in Tampa, Florida and WROW in Albany, New York. The show is the successor of the first nationally known radio sports team in the history of sports talk radio, The Mike and the Mad Dog program that ran from 5 September 1989 until 15 August 2008 when it was announced that Francesa's partner, Christopher Russo would be leaving WFAN.[1]. Francesa also hosts Mike'd Up: The Francesa Sports Final on local NBC affiliate WNBC Channel 4 in New York City that airs on Sunday nights and, like his radio program, covers local New York City sports.
