Janyse Aldis Jaud (first name pronounced Zja-niece) is a Canadian actress and singer/songwriter. She is of Icelandic-French descent.
Janyse combined her voiceover and songwriting talents to create the unique concept and music album "The Magic Of Think". Band members Coochi Coo, Aldis and Little Red share their personal stories of how they discover courage, friendship and happiness with the amazing power of positive thinking. The concept of The Magic of Think came from Janyse's experience with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Four children with life-threatening illnesses made their one wish to meet Janyse, the cast, and the crew of the animated series Ed, Edd n Eddy. It was then that she decided to create music and lyrics, led by animated characters, that would build self-esteem, empower and enrich a child's life. Janyse's message is built on the belief that by igniting the mind of a child, Little Voices can Inspire Big Change.[1]
"The Magic of Think" CD is the first in a series of a multi-media project to be developed into books, games and animation, a percentage of CD sales will be donated to children’s charities.[2]
Her original songs from the albums, “The Magic of Christmas” and “The Magic of Think” have been featured in the movies Blonde and Blonder (Pamela Anderson), “Making Mr. Right” (Dean Cain), “On The Other Hand Death”, "Love Sick", “All She Wants For Christmas” and the television series "Smart Cookies".

Janyse is also a voiceover actress and is best known as Pinkie Pie in My Little Pony (Hasbro), Orange Blossom in Strawberry Shortcake (American Greetings/DIC), Sarah & Lee Kanker in Kids Choice Awards Best Cartoon nominated Ed, Edd n Eddy (Cartoon Network), Narrator of the Emmy Award winning series Adoption Stories (Alliance Atlantis Discovery), Cymbeline in Bratz (MGA), Melissa Duck in Baby Looney Tunes (Warner Bros) and Shandala in Audience award winner Broken Saints at the Sundance Film Festival.
