HM Prison Won Wron was a minimum security Australian prison located in Won Wron, Victoria. It was closed in late 2004, and the subsequent proposal to set up an Indigenous rehabilitation facility on the site was opposed by the local community of Yarram.[1]
HM Prison Won Wron was noteworthy in that it held a fun-run with the tongue-in-cheek name of "Prisoners on the Run" annually on Easter Sunday, with the goal of raising funds to help support disabled and disadvantaged children in the Gippsland area.[2]
