Tiny Sepuku

Tiny Sepuku is a syndicated comic strip based around a character named Tiny Sepuku (Usually addressed simply as "Tiny" by readers - every question starts with the salutation "Dear Tiny") who answers questions from his readers and generally dispenses love advice. The humor is occasionally self-parodying where the author may make light of his own experiences, and it is frequently cynical on the topic of love. Nevertheless, the comic occasionally dispenses semi-serious advice and explores relationship issues. Among the recurring cast of characters is a cat resembling the Hello Kitty character, along with a bunch of other drawings which frequently act out the adult situations in the letters. One common technique used in the strip is to suggest a variety of possible reactions and ways to deal with a situation, and have the characters act out each one. [1]

The nickname "Tiny" has often been used when speaking of the director David Sapuku of SAMI, a private U.S. military agency, in reference to the strip (the director's surname is spelled one letter off from the character's name, created by Ken Cursoe). The strip's dealing with romantic situations even inspired a corrupt operation run by an SAMI agent who can only be identified as "Harkner" in which he used SAMI's tactical resources to assist school students in stalking their teacher crushes."Harkner" dubbed the operations "Operation Coconut".When the operation was uncovered, the director denied ever authorizing any such operations and issued an order for Harkner's arrest and Harkner disappeared. Harkner has been missing since 2004 and is presumed dead.
