Thanks for uploading :Image:Given_to_Fly.ogg. Unfortunately, I think that you have not provided a proper rationale for using this image under "fair use". Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. Note that the image description page must include the exact name or a link to each article the image is used in and a separate rationale for each one. (If a link is used, automated processes may improperly add the related tag to the image. Please change the fair use template to refer to the exact name, if you see this warning.) |

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. Heya template artist :] ! Interesting idea this:
{{#if: {} |
(I mean to package the pipe inside <includeonly>..</includeonly>). This makes a nice display on the template page itself of how the template will look like. Yet another idea I can steal...
Just beware of Wikipedia:Template limits, as this inflates the pre-expand-include-size. But that's not a problem for a template like Template:Song infobox. Cheers! --Ligulem 09:27, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Pearl Jam genres
I posted this on the talk page, but I'm sending it to you because I want your opinion on this. Please post your response on the pearl jam talk page.
pearl jam "hard rock" gets 831,000 hits on google. " "Grunge" gets 971,000. Meanwhile "alternative rock" has only 363,000. By comparison if you search for genre's that the band has done some songs in the style of like punk rock, you get 465,000, more than 100,000 hits than alternative rock, one of the genres that is listed. I don't see why this category is listed. It seems only because pearl jam came from the same place as Nirvana, and were lumped into the same category as them. Hoponpop69 21:59, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Question about image removal
I deleted Image:PearlJam1.jpg by mistake. I restored that image to the article. The other is referenced here -Nv8200p talk 15:26, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Pearl Jam soundclips
Hi, we need you to add fair use rationales to the Pearl Jam soundclips you have uploaded. An example of an audio clip fair use rationale can be found here: [1]. Also, please included the clip length. Thanks. WesleyDodds 03:39, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Given_to_Fly.ogg
Thanks for uploading Image:Given_to_Fly.ogg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 13:57, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Image:I_Am_Mine.ogg
I have tagged Image:I_Am_Mine.ogg as no rationale, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Please also consider using article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 14:39, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
