Born in [[1553]] in Kraków. From [[1560]] to [[1569]] attended a [[jesuit]] [[Collegium Hosianum|collegium]] at [[Braniewo]]. Took part in wars of [[Stefan Batory]] against Moscow, follower of [[kanclerz]] [[Jan Zamoyski]]. He had excellent contact with [[Holy See|the Vatican]], later, after the defeat of his rokosz, he retired to a [[monastery]].

Mikołaj Zebrzydowski (1553–1620) of Radwan Coat of Arms, voivode of Lublin from 1589, Grand Crown Marshal 1596–1600, voivode of Kraków from 1601. Early supporter of king Sigismund III Vasa (during the interregnum). Became dissatisfied with king Zygmunt attempts to strengthen royal power and weaken the nobility (szlachta). In 1606 organised a legal rebellion - rokosz of Zebrzydowski. Defeated in 1607. Sponsored the creation of the city of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska.

Born in 1553 in Kraków. From 1560 to 1569 attended a jesuit collegium at Braniewo. Took part in wars of Stefan Batory against Moscow, follower of kanclerz Jan Zamoyski. He had excellent contact with the Vatican, later, after the defeat of his rokosz, he retired to a monastery.
