The 2001 Milan Indoor was a tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts. It was the 24th edition of the Milan Indoor, and was part of the International Series of the 2001 ATP Tour. It took place in Milan, Italy, from January 29 through February 4, 2001.

The singles field was headlined by World No. 1, US Open champion and Canada and Paris Masters titlist Marat Safin, ATP No. 7, Sydney Olympics gold medalist, Moscow winner and two-time Milan champion Yevgeny Kafelnikov, and Auckland winner Dominik Hrbaty. Other seeded players were Dubai and Hong Kong champion Nicolas Kiefer, St. Pölten titlist Andrei Pavel, Sjeng Schalken, Roger Federer and Marc Rosset.
