Smriti Iraani is an actress and a politician in India.

She is most known for her role of Tulsi in the popular television soap opera, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Because mother-in-law was also daughter-in-law once).

In 2004, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party which was quick to give her a ticket to fight the Lok Sabha elections from Delhi's Chandni Chowk constituency.
