Grenfell Cloth is a close woven cotton material used to make outdoor clothing from its creation in 1923 until the late 20th century. The clothing was used in many expeditions[1].
The cloth was made from 600 thread-per-inch Egyptian cotton by T.Haythornthwaite & Sons Ltd at Lodge Mill, Burnley, UK.
