Shoes

The statement about his shoes isn't entirely true. I've met Ryan, and he was wearing some plain old New Balance shoes. The Republican 00:33, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it does seem a little too specific. I've changed it to "He often gets custom-made shoes by George Esquivel." If we ever get any info to prove that he has worn other brands within the last decade or so, then we should just say "he often gets custom shoes." -- Zanimum 17:29, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"At 6 foot 6 inches, Stiles reportedly has trouble finding shoes that fit him." What does being tall have to do with his shoes? He's only a few inches taller than I am and I don't need custom shoes. The statement has apparently no basis other than the occaisional mockery of his shoes on the show. -Anþony 04:32, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Because a lot of people that are very tall tend to have larger feet (and hands) than shorter people. Take for example, Robert Wadlow, tallest man in recored history at almost 9 feet. He also holds the record for largest hands and feet. -Jumpmansbro —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.20.70.173 (talk) 22:33, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cameos

In case someone expands the article to include cameos, he appeared in an episode of the Fox TV series "Parker Lewis Can't Lose".

Added. Please, be bold in editing, add info yourself if you've got anything more. Anyone is allowed to edit. -- Zanimum 17:29, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Failed sitcom

I remember him potentially being the star of his own show, set in the future, where he'd be an android... Does anyone else know anything about this?--Vercalos 09:27, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

I'll put up a picture of him, could someone fix it up with that actor template Paskari 20:41, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the picture, mostly because you haven't specified the picture's origin or copyright status. It appears to be a press photo of some sort, which would not be appropriate to use here. In general, non-free pictures of living people, when used only to identify that person, are considered "replaceable" and may not be used. The idea is that someone could simply find Mr. Stiles and take a picture of him to release under a free license, rather than having rely on fair use rationale for pictures copyrighted by someone else.  Anþony  talk  22:22, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

The IP User 69.138.96.233 has vandalised the page, stating that "Ryan shoots fire out his but [sic]". I know there is a policy you are supposed to use for this behaviour, but an unsure what to do with an IP User. Help, someone? The Dark Lord Trombonator (((¶))) 07:42, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think most Wikipedians deliver the same 'ol warning to all users, IP or not. 71.203.244.64 23:34, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

Who cares? No one is going to sue over a photo used purely for identification purposes, unless it is a professional photo used for some commercial purpose while under copyright. Someone just add a picture.

Fair use rationale for Image:Ryan-stiles-1.jpg

Image:Ryan-stiles-1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Neon Light info

Is there a valid reason to keep that in the article? Especially under the "personal life" category. --Evildevil 05:39, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I moved the paragraph into the section about working with Drew Carey. I think it's needed to show how they worked together on the set of Whose Line. -- ZookPS3 14:44, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

picture justification

what justifies that a page deserves a picture? For example Drew Carey has a picture, why not Ryan? -- ZookPS3 02:04, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Read WP:FUC --Lucid 15:02, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please watch your language. WP:NFCC is a much more appropriate shortcut. --67.160.32.3 06:57, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dead?!?!

Apparently Ryan is dead, I was unaware of this and cannot find any news whatsoever about it to back it (the more reliable IMDb has no such information) up so Im going to take the info on here down unless someone proves it BritBoy 13:43, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He's not dead. He's alive and well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.34.217.222 (talk) 02:26, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Diabetic

On the article, it says that Ryan was rumored to be a diabetic but he denied the rumor. However, I found this video and when Colin is about to put a chocolate in Ryan's mouth, Ryan says something like, "I really shouldn't because I'm diabetic but what the hell." I also noticed that there is no source to confirm him denying the rumors.

Yes, he says that on episode 12 of 7th season. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.77.9.42 (talk) 19:58, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whose Live Anyway?

Why is there no mention of his work on the "Who's Live Anyway" performance? It has been going on since 1999? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yuyukenshin (talkcontribs) 03:45, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
