Ran me bali Sakina(a.s.) ne ro kar kaha, Mujhko pani nahin chahiye ab chacha,
Ab nahin mujhko shikwa zara pyas ka, Har ghadi karti houn intezar aap ka,
Mujhko pani nahin chahiye ab chacha,
Aae Saqqa-e-haram ammu-e-ji hasham, Ammu deti hon ulfat ki apni kasam,
Shimr se aa ke itna to pucho jara, Mari bacchi pe tune sitam kiyon hai kiya,
Ran me bali Sakina(a.s.) ne ro kar kaha.

Sogware shahe din qaidi-e-jindan fuffi, Ek din wo tha ki Jibraeel(a.s.) ajazat le kar,
Padh ke salwat hote the dakkil ghar ke andar, Aaj hain ma bahane sabhi uryan fuffhi,
Asgar Mehdi-"Taban"'s Nouha

Pyas ki siddat se tadpa hai jo Asgar(a.s.) rat bhar, Qarb me chalka kiya Hauz-e-Qusar rat bhar,
kat kar lana hai pyaso tak kal Nahar-e-Furat, Khah raha tha Josh-e-Abbas-e-Dilawar(a.s.) rat bhar,
Thapkiyan de kar sula dena Zamin-e-Karbala, Jag jaye ga to soye ga na Asgar(a.s.) rat bhar,
Ye shab-e-Ashura "Taban" thi kisi ma ki sada,
2
Aae meri jan na ja, mere nadan na ja, Aae mere hasliyo wale tere abru ki kasam,
Chand se chehare pe bhikhare hue gesu ki kasam, Tujh se madar hai khajil aur khajalat na badha,
Aae mere lal ye kya hal banaya tune, Khud ko jhule se tadap kar ke giraya tune, Aai kano me kahan se tere halmin ki sada,
Haye is umr me ya shauq-e-shahadat kaisa, Nusrat-e-ummat-e-din aur gam-e-ummat kaisa, Ro chuki Akbar-o-Qasim(a.s.) pe ab tu na rula,
