Don Shanks (born October 2, 1952) Hammersmith, London was footballer with Luton Town, QPR and Brighton and Hove Albion.

He was perhaps more famously known for 2 things outside of football. Firstly he was Stan Bowles gambling partner and also dated Mary Stavin a Miss World in the 1970's.[citation needed]
