9/11 connection

Moved from the "Details" section:

*9/11 occurred three weeks into the film's run, so a humorous scene in the first 15 minutes or so of the players running down a casino hotel emergency stairwell instead disgusted movie goers; the film was then pulled from distribution.

I couldn't find any evidence backing up this claim. Rat Race's weekend gross as outlined on IMDB doesn't show signs of a sudden drop-off or backlash against the film after 9/11. I couldn't find any news reports mentioning disgusted viewers, either, and according to IMDB the film was shown in US theatres until December 2001. Someone find out what is actually being said in the Rap Section of the Rat Race Theme and Post it. No, Really.
