Claire Rhiannon Holt (born 7 July 1988, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian actress, best known for the role of Emma Gilbert in the television series H2O: Just Add Water.
Career
In addition to starring in H2O: Just Add Water, Claire has been starring in various advertisements for Dreamworld, Sizzlers and Queensland Lifesaving. She recently attended at the Nickelodeon UK Kids Choice Awards 2007 alongside co-stars Phoebe Tonkin and Cariba Heine.
She is part of the cast of American film The Messengers 2. She will be playing the daughter of the lead role. Due to these filiming commitments, Claire will be absent from a few episodes of the H2O series, it is unknown as to whether she will return as Indiana Evans will be playing a new mermaid when Holt departs. Claire has been hosting on an H2O special which she went behind the scenes.
Private life
Holt graduated Stuartholme High School in Toowong, Queensland at the end of 2005, and she plans to obtain a university degree.[1]
Claire Holt has a black belt in tai-kwon-do.[2]
Enjoys singing, and was in the school choir.
Competitive water polo player. Also enjoys swimming, volleyball, and playing the guitar and piano.
Plans to obtain a university degree but is having too much fun playing mermaid Emma in H2O: Just Add Water.
