Kingturtle, you don't seem to have read the article. It says that Parker was married to an
American citizen.

It took the energetic 1968 television special, Elvis, and a subsequent series of stellar recording sessions in Memphis, Tennessee, to restore Elvis Presley's musical reputation. To his credit, though, it is open as to whether he was allowed much choice in the matter; Parker allowed both to happen with little impediment

I'm having trouble parsing this. Whose credit, and who was or was not allowed much choice - Presley or Parker? And why would it be to either one's credit? Shari 07:59, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

date of death?

article lists January 21, 1997 (findagrave lists Jan. 22!) at the beginning and June 26, 1996, at the end - which is it? 70.183.63.108 22:53, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Opening Segment

The opening segment contains information that is vital to the article, but I don't believe it belongs in the opening segment. Most of hte information that I removed earlier was repeated further in the article. I don't have time to rewrite the whole article now, or to even make an attempt on it, but I have noticed a few mistakes within the article that I will try to rectify soon. I'll leave the opening segment as it is now, seeing as some have taken my previous edit the wrong way, but I do still feel that the information I removed should be taken out of the opening segment and only used in the relative section.ElvisFan1981 (talk) 09:43, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Researching this subject online to possibly improve it, I came across this page (http://www.elvis.com.au/presley/interview_loanne_parker2.shtml) written on March 24, 2006. The earliest date I could find on Wiki for this article was July 4, 2006. The Wiki article is practically word for word the exact copy of the http://www.elvis.com.au/presley/interview_loanne_parker2.shtml article. Is this a problem? I'm fairly new to Wikipedia but was led to believe that this kind of "copy/paste" job was not allowed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ElvisFan1981 (talkcontribs) 09:57, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Departure

There were rumours about Parker's rapid departure from Holland. He seems to have left the U.S. Army because of mental trouble. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.139.116.24 (talk) 16:10, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
