Sabinas Hidalgo is a city and municipality located at the Mexican state of Nuevo León. Sabinas Hidalgo is located at 26°29′56.39″N 100°10′46.89″W / 26.4989972°N 100.1796917°W{{#coordinates:}}: cannot have more than one primary tag per page.
History
The town was founded as Real de Santiago de las Sabinas in July 25, 1693 by General Ignacio de Maya, but it was lived in its location since 1692
It was named, Villa de Sabinas, Hidalgo in honor of Miguel Hidalgo, the Mexican independence war starter. In 1971 it lost its villa status and is now considered a city.
