Kaplan Financial

Founded in 1958, FTC Kaplan is one of the United Kingdom's longest established financial training companies. FTC is also one of the leading ACCA tuition providers with a Premium Plus status for students all over the world and the UK. The institute is known for its quality of education, and its faculty has one of the most experienced teachers in the field of accounting. It has many branches around the UK and all over the world. FTC’s head office is in London, and there are 28 training centers around the UK.

FTC prepares over 30,000 students a year for professional accountancy exams such as the AAT, ACA, ACCA and CIMA, as well as tax qualification programmes, training for investment professionals such as CFA, CPD training, and specialist corporate and government training.

In February 2003, FTC became part of Kaplan, Inc., a provider of educational and career services. Kaplan is a subsidiary of The Washington Post Company (NYSE: WPO). FTC produces exam-focussed study materials, test prep, and courses for The American Academy of Financial Management, AAT, ACCA and CIMA that are also being used widely in other training institutions in the public and private sectors. In May 2007 the UK arm of Kaplan extended its training offering from professional qualification into higher education with the introduction of Kaplan Open Learning. Kaplan Open Learning is part of Kaplan, Inc a leading international provider of education and career services and a subsidiary of The The Washington Post Company (NYSE: WPO). Kaplan Inc, has 25,000 employees in 600 locations worldwide and over one million students around the globe.
