The Carps are a band from Toronto, Canada. The band is comprised of members Neil White and Jahmal Tonge.
The band began its career in Scarborough, a borough of the city of Toronto. And have toured Europe and North America. The Carps have toured with The Cool Kids, MIA, Holy F*ck, The Hives and Lupe Fiasco.
Singer Jahmal Tonge will be featured on the upcoming MSTRKRFT album Fist Of God, and the band plans to release an electronic leaning EP with DJ Klever, and Brook D'Leau of Warner Brothers records artists J*Davey.
The Carps have released two EP's to critical acclaim, and have been applauded for their ability to weave genres of all types into a seamless and cohesive sound.
