- Thomas Patten Stafford (born 1930) an American astronaut and Air Force general
- Thomas Stafford Williams (born 1930) a New Zealand Cardinal and the former Archbishop of Wellington
- Sir Thomas Stafford, reputed to be the illegitimate son of George Carew, Baron Carew of Clopton and Earl of Totnes (1555–1629)
- Thomas Stafford (1531–1557) a grandson of Henry Stafford, 1st Baron Stafford, who was executed for high treason
