XDIME stands for XML-based Device Independent Markup Extensions.

XDIME is a device agnostic markup language and which is converted to a device specific markup language by Volantis based on information stored about the device. This allows mark-up to be generated once without the author having to know what device it will be delivered to. XDIME is used extensively for delivering content to mobile devices.

XDIME can be authored in JSP or XDIME XML
