''A child cannot consent to sexual exhibitionism as much as a man cannot consent to being murdered''

I have joined wikipedia after learning of the recent controversy with the [[Virgin Killer]] image. I have massive problems with how this place handles disputes, using bullying tactics and quotations of vague and often contradictory wiki guidelines which are as long and pointless as they are imperfect. Its partisan editors seem to have no moral base whatsoever, and naievely defend free speech and art as if they are unconditional abstracts, even to the extremes of child abuse.

I am in awe of wikipedia is and what it could be, but am worried by the characters of the editors who work the system.

I may decide someday to edit here in areas where I may be of some knowledge, but for now am looking to see how the virgin killer controversy sorts itself out.

It seems to be that the arguments been put forth by the nihilists on this site are extremely weak and naieve - and few editors here seem to dispute them other than a few half hearted attempts to instill order into the panic.
