NikeTalk is an Internet forum for the discussion of sneakers. The community is on the Yuku network.
History
NikeTalk was created December 4, 1997 when Nelson Cruz aka "Bastich" became dissatisfied with the lack of moderation on "NikePark", a similar webforum. [citation needed]
As of September, 2005, NikeTalk has 7,918 Total members, over 12.4 million posts and over 1.2 billion views. Common discussion topics include news about upcoming sneakers, cosmetics, and pictures of political figures from states such as Nike, Inc., Adidas, And1, Vans and Reebok. Other forums include General, Music, Sports and Regional. There is also a Buy/Sell forum where members can purchase and sell shoes, shirts, and other items.
On November 10, 2007, NikeTalk officially moved from EZboard to Yuku.
