Seppuku with a frisbee |
Seppuku is the ancient art of killing yourself if you get super pissed and can’t find anybody else to kill. Ninjas use all sorts of crap to kill themselves—guns, ropes, knives, lasers, spears, etc.—and don’t even think twice about it. These guys would kill themselves for just about any reason and often for no reason at all: that’s why we there are so few ninjas today. |
But if you want to commit Seppuku and you’re like me, you don’t have access to stuff like lasers. But there’s hope. I tried to kill myself by swallowing a frisbee a couple of times—and believe me, it’s pretty cool. The only catch is you have to be really super pissed to do it. |
Step 1 Get a frisbee from the store or friend. |
Step 2 Clean the Frisbee. |
Step 3 Make sure your parents aren’t around |
Step 4 Put something slippery on it, like butter or cream. |
Step 5 Get really super pissed. |
Step 6 Fold the Frisbee hard (this is crucial) |
Step 7 Keep folded and insert Frisbee into mouth hard. |
Step 8 Push hard until you can’t see it. |
Step 9 Wait. |
Step 10 Die. |
How can you say people don't need to now about this? This is incredibly important! If this is an encyclopedia then why are there pages about you and your friends? |

In the meantime, I'll help out wherever I can. J Sarah Michelle GellarHello, I am responding to Just Passing By who asked for assistance in getting a picture of Sarah. We would be happy to provide a picture, but we also have a new version of text regarding Sarah that we would like to see at Wikpedia.
Gellar was born in New York City and was raised by her mother after her parents divorced. Gellar was 4 years old when she was discovered in a restaurant by a talent scout. Fittingly, her first commercial, for Burger King, created a firestorm in the advertising world. Her first screen role was in the made for television movie, “Invasion of Privacy” in 1983. Mixing school work with her career, she graduated early with a 4.0 from the prestigious Professional Children's School, Sarah was involved in numerous projects, including the part of teen age Jackie Onassis in the television production, “A Woman Named Jackie” in 1991. In 1992, Sarah starred in “Swan’s Crossing”. Subsequently she landed a key role on the long running soap opera, “All My Children”, playing Kendall Hart, the duplicitous long lost daughter of Erica Kane. Her performance garnered her an Emmy award for Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in a Drama. Gellar left Pine Valley for Sunnydale when she landed the leading role in Joss Whedon’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. The series ran from 1997 to 2002. It would go on to become one of the most lauded and studied programs in television history and make Sarah Michelle Gellar a recognized star across the world. During the run of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gellar began her film career. After parts in “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “Scream 2” , Gellar starred in “Simply Irresistible” Her part in “Cruel Intentions” a steamy retelling of “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” gained a lot of attention for a girl on girl kissing scene with Selma Blair. She stepped into music videos with the Stone Temple Pilots, and received a “thumbs up” from Roger Ebert for her part in James Toback’s “Harvard Man”. Flying between Los Angeles and Australia, Gellar starred in “Scooby-Doo” while filming “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” simultaneously. Box office success for the original and its sequel, nearly $500 million worldwide, took some of the bite out of most reviews. She followed that with the hugely successful “The Grudge”. Gellar has numerous projects coming up, including “Southland Tales” by “Donnie Darko” director, Richard Kelly.

~ Veledan • Talk + new 20:35, 7 September 2005 (UTC) Hi Sango123Thanks for welcoming me to Wikipedia! At the moment I've just been making the odd minor edit, but I thought I should do so under a username so that I can keep track of them! I'm just in the final stages of my PhD so I don't have much time for major article-writing. I hope to contribute more in the future. It's great to see a list of classical composers and pianists under the heading "Favourite musicians". I'm a classical music fan too, and hope to contribute something to music-related articles. (I've attempted to describe and analyse works on my personal website [1] before, and I'm not sure it was entirely successful, so maybe I'll stick to the history of music and the composers' lives). This year I hoped to see Yundi Li at De Montfort Hall here in Leicester, but sadly he was "indisposed" so I didn't have the opportunity to seek his autograph. I'm also interested in Chinese culture and language, and already find Wikipedia a useful reference! Take care, JRawle 17:28, 9 September 2005 (UTC) http://www.nationmaster.com/Thank you for the welcome. Question: What is the relation between Wikipedia and http://www.nationmaster.com/ ? The article , a "A Possible Energy Source' was intended to be saved. but the rectangle offering this flicked off screen before I could use it. Hope it survives. As to the criticized article, I wish the type were larger so Icould proof-read it more redily. I will look up the Discovr article. It was Sodium2(two) that produced the abundant positrons. I know how low the yield of isotopes is in a cyclotron, and am hoping that people who understand string theory or some other can tell whether conversion of electrons to positrons is possible Surely, it would not be a job for a cyclotron. Even the Pons/Fleshman aparatuss would be more likely to do that! Pferdkopf2 Thomas Ross WP:MIND 06:18, 21 September 2005 (UTC)Hello, Sango123! While the opening time may vary by two or three hours, the round will open no earlier than 22:00 UTC. In addition, there are several rule changes, which will be detailed when the round opens. These promise to be lots of fun! We sincerely hope you join us. Also, congratulations to ROYGBIV for winning round two; it was an extremely close game, with the runner-up, Spondoolicks, only two points behind. Let's keep round three competitive! Thanks for the welcomeHey Sanjo, nice to have someone say hello. Though I have been here since Feb 2005!!! Im not really going to be a major editor, but from time to time i`ll make some contributions. Ive only really been active on the Korean War page and only then giving advice on what to include and page structure. Actually I think thats were Im going to be more helpful, I`m not specialised in any one area so Im better off advising. Regards --Mazzarin 18:08, 15 October 2005 (UTC) (Real Name: Daniel) PS Im also keeping an eye on another user (my brother). He can get a bit passionate shall we say on some things. But hes handled himself well so far. Yippee! You're back from academic-induced Wiki-stasis! You've missed a lot of excitement in the past few months: WoW attacks, vandalbot attacks, the new Esperanza group, which I've noticed you've joined. WP:BAP is kind of stagnant, as no one can design any barnstars. Can't think of anything more at the moment, but I'm sure some new users need welcoming. {{subst:smile}} Cheers, Bratschetalk | Esperanza 19:01, 15 October 2005 (UTC) Esperanza SpamHello Esperanzians! A few announcements. The Advisory Committee election results are in. In tranch A are Acetic Acid and Flcelloguy. In tranch B are Ryan Norton and Bratsche. My other annoouncement is that our founder, JCarriker, has founded Esperanza's sister project, Wikipediology. I have written two essays here (my name is Matt Binder). My essays are under Teenage Wikipedians and Anon Editors. On behalf of myself and Jay Carriker and the other wikipediologists, I would appreciate it if you were to join. Cheers Esperanza! I have tried to clean up and extend the Linux+ article, since I was one of the SME's who designed the question pool and objectives for them exam. Could you take a gander at it maybe and see if it is up to Wiki standards? Thanks again for the helpful links and tutorial advice. JobE6 00:19, 17 October 2005 (UTC) How to stop? Thanks for the welcome and the links, those are very useful. Where's the link on how to stop spending all your time doing this?! ;) I'm surprised there's not a definition of the affliction wikimania here somewhere ... flux.books 15:01, 17 October 2005 (UTC) Don't you have a real job?Maybe you should read How to talk to a liberal, but only if you must, by Anne Coulter. Also, maybe you would realize the brilliancy of conservatism if you actually worked. Liberals are such crazy people! Almost like children, they can not see the forest for the trees. I'm pretty much loving Wikipedia, and can relate all to well to the wikimania lament. But that's not what I need help for (though you wouldn't believe that if you look at the list of pages it seemed necessary to create). No, I'm having absolutely no luck on the technical part of uploading images of comic-book covers, which are all over Wikipedia. I used the Wikipedia Commonplace software successfully for two or three images, and then suddenly, it stopped working. Everything jpg I try to upload now gets 50% uploaded and then I get an error message about "An unhandled exception has occured in your application. ... The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found." I left a message on the Tech board a few days ago, but have gotten no answer. Is it me or does Wikimedia Commonplace not work, or not work with my computer, or I don't know. Help! How can I upload images? Oh, P.S. RE the apparent conservative above. That person's need to insult people he or she disagrees with is the sign of a weak argument, an insecure thinker, or someone who knows that their philosophy doesn't hold up. Someone with self-respect has no need to insult other people. That's childish -- which is ironic given one of insults that person throws. Don't let it get to you.
