Sergei Nikolaievich Ignashevich (Template:Lang-ru) born July 14, 1979 is a Russia national football team professional footballer. He currently plays for PFC CSKA Moscow, which he is the team captain of, but has also played for Lokomotiv Moscow. Ignashevich is often considered one of the highest skilled defenders in the Russian Premier League while playing alongside fellow Russian international defenders -- twin brothers Aleksei Berezutskiy and Vasili Berezutskiy. Ignashevich is married and has 3 children.[1] Just recently his 3rd son was born and was named Sergei.

He was called up to the Russia squad for Euro 2008.
