*Question: It seems to me that to write a FA-able article on a fellow who has been utterly ignored for ~55 years, one would need original research (since if there was a sufficient literature that one could write an FA-able, it is extremely unlikely that they would have been completely ignored in that long a time period.) | Would you like to donate money to the Wikimedia Foundation without having to pay for it? Or have you ever wanted to get paid for writing for Wikipedia? Well now you can do both! (Well, sort of - you just don't get to keep the money.) |
The Wikipedia Bounty Board is where Bounty Keepers post monetary bounties for articles they would like to see elevated to Featured Status. Bounty Hunters then go to work on those articles, trying to get them up to featured quality. If the article becomes a featured article before the bounty's expiration date, the Bounty Keeper donates the bounty money to the Wikimedia Foundation, a non-profit organization, in the name of the Bounty Hunters who worked so hard on the article.
