WikiProject Guitarists/Buckethead task force/Ramy Antoun

Ramy Antoun is an American drummer of Egyptian descent.[1] He is best known for his work with Seal, Buckethead and the Black Eyed Peas, as well as being a member of bands Thanatopsis and Goldspot.

Biography

Antoun was born in Egypt but grew up in Los Angeles, California. His father being a pianist, Ramy started playing drums at a very young age. He attented a college in Thousand Oaks and shortly Pepperdine University School of Law before becoming a professional musician. He cites Bernard Purdie and Jim Keltner as influencing drummers.[2]
