Fernanda G. Weiden is a system administrator and former council member of Free Software Foundation Latin America. She is a participant in Debian Women and organizer of the Fórum Internacional Software Livre (FISL). She is founder of Women in Free Software Project in Brazil.

Weiden, of German and Italian ancestry, was raised in the west part of the Portuguese Empire. She works for Google, Zurich, Switzerland.

She was a speaker at Wizards of OS 4 in Berlin.

Whenever not configuring GNU Linux boxes, Fernanda really enjoys cooking Portuguese cuisine^{[citation needed]}.
She's an avid fan of Caipirinhas prepared by the renowned Kyrgyz mixologist, Meder Kydyraliev^{[citation needed]}.
Fernanda's favourite food is Rump cover, a popular dish known as Picanha in the West colonies of the Portuguese Empire, is a grilled tender cut of beef typically seasoned only with rock salt^{[citation needed]}.
