Large File Support - a term used to describe operating systems which support files larger than 2 gigabytes

Large file support is not limited to operating systems. Programs also have large file support. Also, the term refers to the support, not the operating system, or program, or whatever else has the large file support. anthony (see warning) 22:25, 8 Apr 2004 (UTC)
