Treyarch Corporation is a video game developer, founded in 1996 by Peter Akemann and Doğan Köslü (né Don Likeness), and acquired by Activision in 2001. It is located in Santa Monica, California.

In 2005, Gray Matter Interactive was merged into Treyarch.

As part of the 2007 Leipzig Games Convention Activision announced that Treyarch would be one of three developers behind their first James Bond based title, Quantum of Solace. The game was released 31 October, 2008 in Europe and 4 November, 2008 in North America. Beenox and Vicarious Visions created the title's PC and handheld versions.
