Xbox News/Announcements Announcements January 17: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be the sixth game in the main series and is under development by Infinity Ward. The official title for the game was announced by Activision Blizzard on December 3, 2008, and a tentative release date set for Autumn Template:Vgy. No other information about the game has been revealed. Mass Effect 2 is an upcoming role-playing video game by BioWare, and is the sequel to Mass Effect. The game has been confirmed to be in development with little said about the story other than it picks up after Mass Effect. News Microsoft announced lower retail prices for the gaming and entertainment console in the United States, which offers the leading Xbox LIVE service. Beginning September 5, Xbox 360 Arcade retails for the estimated price of $199.99, the Xbox 360 console for $299.99, and Xbox 360 Elite for $399.99. Microsoft's award-winning Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers are now available for a limited time in red with newly designed black accents. Microsoft announced an Xbox 360 console with triple the storage space of the original console, but for the same price of $349 (U.S.) estimated retail price.
