Additional: The VC list has nine names, yet the infobox says only 7 VCs for this regiment. I suspect that the last two on the list (Allmand and Tul Bahadur Pun) actually belong to 6GR. As such, I believe that the last two names on the list should be removed. Does anyone have an opinion on this matter? Query about VC list

The article lists Capt Michael Allmand, VC, as being attached to 5GR. Can anyone confirm this? I believe that he was actually attached to 3/6th Gurkha Rifles. Please see the associated page Michael Allmand. Additionally, the 6th Gurkhas site (http://www.6thgurkhas.org/theregiment_vc.shtml) also claims him as one of their own. Can this be confirmed, and if so I believe that his name should be removed from the list of 5GR VC recipients. Does anyone agree or disagree? I have now removed the two VCs for Allmand and Tul Bahadur Pun. Parker, 2005 confirms that these two men served with the 6th Gurkhas, not the 5th.AustralianRupert (talk) 05:19, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
