The ceremony included the mural, trophies presented to him by the seniors of the baseball and basketball teams, and a dedication of a new floor-stencil of the coach's signature. The ceremony was followed by a reception where over 250 guests attended. There, many of the coach's former players, Kevin Joyce, Matt Rizzoti and Ralph James listened to speeches given by Mr. Curran, his friends and acquanitances.
