Michael P 17:10, 22 November 2007 (UTC)mSelinsky Hi Carnildo, Please forward to someone to help cleanup this article or give me advice...I've done about all I can do, but definitely needs cleanup. Thanks

Hello Mselinsky, and welcome to Wikipedia. I've gone through the article Teenbeat Club that you have worked hard on. I might suggest you read over Wikipedia's manual of style for links before making more edits. This may save you some time as well as help future editors. Also, I've added an unreferenced tag; I would suggest you read over Wikipedia's manual of style for citation before continuing on with further edits. License tagging for Image:Teenbeat Club Postcard.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Teenbeat Club Postcard.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot (talk) 04:11, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've been adding your signature to some of your article contributions, such as you did to Teenbeat Club. This is a simple mistake to make and is easy to correct. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thanks for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. freshacconcispeaktome 17:04, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Teenbeat Club. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you. freshacconcispeaktome 17:08, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of The Teenbeats

A tag has been placed on The Teenbeats requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:The Teenbeat Club Poster.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Teenbeat Club Poster.jpg. The copy called Image:Teenbeat Club Poster.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. License tagging for Image:Charlie White Eagle 45 RPM.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Charlie White Eagle 45 RPM.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:07, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Christopher Michael Hallman (American Singer - Harmonica - Autoharp Player) The Present Tense, Las Vegas, Nevada, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Helen Long and the Long Shots 001.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 03:31, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on The Chevell's (American Surf Music Band - Southern California) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Images at teenbeat club

Hey. I deleted the images uploaded at said article since they were clearly copyright violations. If you take a picture of an album cover, or a poster, it alas does not put it in the public domain, it is still copyrighted. You're free to re-upload them under a copyright tag with a fairuse rationale if you so choose. Wizardman 02:13, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I second that, I tagged all you derivative work as wrongly license. I'll give you a few days to correct them, otherwwise I'll begin talking action to delete them. If you upload anymore in the same fashion you may be blocked from editting. You may wish to familiarize yourself with WP:IUP particularly WP:IUP#User-created_images. ccwaters (talk) 14:21, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:TEENBEAT_CLUB_POSTCARD.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:TEENBEAT_CLUB_POSTCARD.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Kelly hi! 05:12, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Garehime's PC.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
