References? Wikipedia. "''Emilio Ambrosini (1850, Trieste, Italy''"; "''Ambrosini finished a shipbuilding school in Trieste''"<BR>
So he was born in an italian city (Trieste) from an italian family (Ambrosini family) and studied in that city.
It's quite ridicolous to call him "croat".
