Century Gothic is a sans-serif typeface created by Monotype Studios. It can be classified as a geometric sans-serif font due to its use of perfect circles and straight lines, clearly visible in letters such as the capital "G", composed of only a circular arc and a line. Century Gothic is based upon Sol Hess's font "Twentieth Century," created in the mid-1900's, but with a larger x-height as one of its primary differences. Futura is another popular font that is similar in appearance to Century Gothic and Twentieth Century.
