The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is a Danish alternative band consisting of Mette Lindberg, Lars Iversen, Miloud Carl Sabri, Sven Meinilid, Mads Brinch Nielsen, and Jasper Einegaard.[1] Iversen is their primary songwriter, and often uses small samples to create their tracks.[2] Their debut single, "The Sun Ain't Shining No More", was released on September 15, 2008. The band has become known for its song "Around the Bend", which was used in an Apple iPod Touch commercial starting in September 2008, and released as a single in October. An EP version featuring two new tracks was released in November.[3]

Mette Lindberg appeared in an episode of the BBC music quiz show Never Mind the Buzzcocks as a panellist in November 2008.[4]

Fruit (2009)

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's debut album is set to release in April 2009. The band confirmed that the title of their debut album will be 'Fruit'. This will include their songs "The Sun Ain't Shining No More" and their famous iPod advert song "Around The Bend". The official date is yet to be announced, the band is likely to announce the official day on their myspace page where they have previously announced all other information.
