The 2009 FIA GT3 European Championship season in the third season of the FIA GT3 European Championship. The season will begin on May 3, 2009 and will end on November 11, 2009 and will feature twelve 1 hour rounds over six rounds. Most of the events will be support races to the 2009 FIA GT Championship season, the 2009 FIA GT4 European Cup season and the 2009 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo season.
It will feature a veritey of new race prepared road cars such as the Audi R8 LMS, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and the Alpina B6.
