*Delete, like all articles on blogging in a particular country that do not give any reasons why that country's blogs differ from the ones described at blog. If the problem is that blog is too America-centric, then it should be fixed by replacing some of the American examples with examples that show a decent international spread, not by adding extra articles that say the same thing about other countries. — Haeleth Talk 17:50, 17 November 2005 (UTC) |
Revision as of 17:50, 17 November 2005
The only notable character mentioned here is Beppe Grillo, who already has his own page on wikipedia. Femmina 04:30, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Non-notable original research. --Timecop 04:37, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- Was previously Afd'd with no consensus, but I believe it should have been left open longer, there was hardly any participation. I see nothing here but unsourced original research and links to a few blogs. I suggest a delete or maybe a redirect to Beppe Grillo. Friday (talk) 04:49, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- Keep and cleanup. Blogging is a rapidly growing medium. There is no reason why we can't have a summary of blogging in Italy like there is no reason why we shouldn't an article on Television in Italy or Newspapers in Italy. Capitalistroadster 05:17, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- If kept, should be renamed as Blogging in Italy. Capitalistroadster 05:18, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- The reason is verifiability. If proper sources can be found for this, by all means put them in the article. Otherwise, it's just original research. Friday (talk) 05:21, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- The additional reason is that blogging is in no way akin to a newspaper or television. How is blogging in Italy any different from blogging in Slovakia? Arbitrary, unencyclopedic, unverifiable. Delete Dottore So 08:26, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- Italian blogs are in Italian, and Slovakian blogs are in...whatever people speak in Slovakia? (Delete this, as OR and unverifiable.) - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 14:21, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- Delete If there's any redeeming information on this article (I don't see any) then merge with blog if it's not already there. Skrewler 08:41, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- Delete as unecyclopedic. If there is later enough material here to warrent it's own article, re-create it. - brenneman(t)(c) 10:29, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, like all articles on blogging in a particular country that do not give any reasons why that country's blogs differ from the ones described at blog. If the problem is that blog is too America-centric, then it should be fixed by replacing some of the American examples with examples that show a decent international spread, not by adding extra articles that say the same thing about other countries. — Haeleth Talk 17:50, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
