I attended the Control Data Institute's Computer Programming Technology course in their Sydney, Australia campus and graduated in early 1976. The Sydney Institute was obviously a continuation of its American predeccesor and was quite popular in Down Under so CDI even planned to open up another one in Melbourne, then the rest of the other capital cities but it was never a reality. Many of the students came from overseas especially Asia and upon graduation they could all normally get a job as a trainee programmer etc and continued to stay and work in Australia without problem. It's a pity that the CDI graduates did not form an alumni so they all lost contact afterwards. ''P.P.L.'' |
