August "Cinjun" Tate is an American singer, songwriter, and occasional rhythm guitarist for the American band Remy Zero.
Early life
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Cinjun was raised by his mother, a musician and poet, and his father, an artist. Cinjun is the youngest of three children.
His older brother Shelby was a Remy Zero band mate along with Cedric Lemoyne (formerly Cedric Williams). Cinjun attended Gresham Middle School in Birmingham, Alabama where he met Cedric. They dropped out of school later to form the band Remy Zero.
Marriage
Cinjun Tate married actress Alyssa Milano in 1999; the couple divorced later that same year.
