Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution is the next game in the Ready 2 Rumble Boxing series, released in North America on March 17th 2009, In Europe in March 20th 2009 and in Australia in March 26, 2009. Unlike the previous games developed by Midway, the third iteration will be developed by AKI and produced by STEREO MODE under licensed from The Buffer Partnership.[1] The game is distributed by Atari [2] and it has been confirmed the title will come to the Wii.[3] This game will be released in Japan later this year.
Reception
- Official Nintendo Magazine gave the game 70%, saying the game's controls could have been improved.
- Hardcore Gamer Magazine gave the game a 1.5/5 saying that it was "so bad that even extremely fond memories of the original cannot redeem the wretched controls and dull character design".[1]
- Game Informer gave the game a 1/10 citing horrible controls, many racist stereotypes and bad gameplay.
- IGN gave the game a 3.5 calling it extremely frustrating, and not worth trying to gain the unlockables, even if they were more than half of the game.[2]
