I apologize if the photo issue has been corrected (see above), since it seems due to my slow phone line I cannot download the full photo, and I could not even get access to the thread of that topic, but I would say four things. One--with the photo as it appears I cannot tell that it is Phragmites or not. Two--in either case, the photo seems to be a poor one which does not illustrate the size, height, or extent of Tall-Grass Prairie. It looks like a very small disjunct planting of some tall-grass. Three--if fixed with a non-Phragmites photo, no notice of the change seems to appear anywhere that I can find. Four--if this photo is incorrect, it really should be removed until an accurate is available, with all due respect to the above statement about first finding a proper one. Having no photo available is better than a misleading inaccurate one, and would be temporary.

I realized this when I first searched for Tallgrass Prairie, the photo on this page is not a photo of tallgrass, it's a photo of Phragmites australis, also called common reed. Anyhow, it's an invasive species, which prefers wetlands. My Wiki skills are not that good, so I don't know how to change this picture. If anyone else does or can, please do.

First we need to locate an image that is in the public domain. Any ideas? If you can locate an image, I can upload it to Wikipedia. Sunray 16:16, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
