Welcome to the Bilateral relations task force of WikiProject International relations. We are a group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of Bilateral relations.
Our goal
To improve Wikipedia's coverage of bilateral relations articles, and centralize discussion on them. Participants will analyse extant bilateral relations articles and sort them into three preliminary categories:
- Prod - these articles are deemed by participants not to be notable, and they will prod them
- AfD - these articles are either be of unclear notability, or participants have not been able to reach a consensus on their notability, so they will be sent to articles for deletion
- Keep - these articles are deemed by participants to be notable, and in need of expansion and improvement rather than deletion

- Hans Adler (talk) 23:33, 19 April 2009 (UTC) Interest: Reducing the number of "X–Y relations" articles dramatically
- - TonyBallioni (talk) 00:08, 20 April 2009 (UTC)- Interested in development of notability guideline.
- - DGG (talk) 00:18, 20 April 2009 (UTC) Interest: preventing the removal of article with any potential, as elsewhere in Wikipedia. No prejudgment about what the number will be.
- User:Drmies (talk). I'm interested in deflating the pressure cooker of AfD and article rescue. I'm extremely prejudiced: I think all articles on notable subjects should be kept. ;)
- User:LibStar. Interested in keeping the truly notable combinations. given that in recent months a number of random combination articles have been created with no consideration of reliable sources indicating notablity. the obsessive creator actually missed out on a lot of notable ones whilst creating some truly laughable ones. - Martintg (talk) 04:11, 23 April 2009 (UTC). I'm interested in developing some reasonable guidelines on notability first before embarking on wholesale deletion of these "X-Y Relations" articles.
- FeydHuxtable (talk) 13:38, 27 April 2009 (UTC) Interested to see if consensus can be reached about the importance of these articles, and if a specific notability guideline can be created.
- User:Bearian - I have long been interested in bilatreal relations (since my Model United Nations days in college) and created my own standards here. Bearian (talk) 20:37, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
- Grsz11 (talk) 13:29, 30 April 2009 (UTC) – Interest in developing a page standard, guidelines; Topical interest: Latin America.
- Ikip, interested in all worthy articles, I am sure many members of the Wikipedia:Article Rescue Squadron would be willing to help too. Ikip (talk) 17:19, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- MarshalN20 - I'm interested in helping check for the notability of Spanish language-related topics.
- HJMitchell You rang? 23:09, 3 May 2009 (UTC). It's good to see these articles being collected together so they can be sorted.
