Bristol Palin (born October 18, 1990) is the daughter of Alaska governor and former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, and Sarah's husband Todd Palin. She lives with her parents in Wasilla, Alaska, and has a son, Tripp, with Levi Johnston. [2][3] [4][5][6] Bristol and fiance Levi Johnston ended their engagement about 2.5 months after the birth of their son.[7]

Abstinence spokeswoman

In 2009, due to having the highest profile teen pregnancy of the year[8], Palin began speaking publicly as the Teen Abstinence Ambassador for the Candie's Foundation,[9] [10][11] a teen pregnancy prevention organization pro-abstinence organization[12] She gave presenations on abstinence at town hall meetings and morning talk shows. According to Palin, "Regardless of what I did personally, abstinence is the only ... 100% foolproof way you can prevent pregnancy."[13] According to The Telegraph, in early 2009, before becoming an abstinence spokeswoman, 'Bristol said she believed that expecting teens to avoid sex was "not realistic at all".'[14]
