Shane Lowry (born 28 March 1987) is an Irish amateur golfer. He won the 2009 Irish Open Golf Championship as an amateur.[2] It was his first tournament on the European Tour, making him one of a few who have won on their Tour debut.

Lowry attended University College Dublin on a golf scholarship. He is currently ranked 16th in the amateur world rankings. Lowry was the 2007 Irish close champion.
