Frankton Junction (grid reference SJ369318) is the name of the canal junction where the Montgomery Canal terminates and meets the Llangollen Canal at Lower Frankton, Shropshire, England.
At the time of its conception, Frankton Junction was to be where the Ellesmere Branch of the Ellesmere Canal split from the main line of the Ellesmere Canal. Due to the canal never being completed as originally intended, it became the junction where the Llanymynech Branch of the Ellesmere Canal split from the main line. As a result, bridge numbering on the Llangollen Canal recommences at bridge number one past Frankton Junction, while bridge numbering on the Montgomery Canal commences at bridge number 70.
