Thomas Cecil Farrer, 2nd Baron Farrer (25 October 1859-12 April 1940) was the second Baron Farrer. He was the eldest son of Thomas Farrer, 1st Baron Farrer and his first wife Frances Erskine. His daughter Katharine Dianthe Farrer married Edward Ettingdene Bridges, 1st Baron Bridges.
Farrer was a long-term member of the board of the Underground Electric Railways Company of London (a forerunner of the London Underground) and served as its third chairman, taking over when Sir Edgar Speyer resigned in 1915.[1] In 1919, he was succeeded in the role by the company's former managing director Sir Albert Stanley (later Lord Ashfield) after Stanley stepped down from his wartime government post as President of the Board of Trade.
