Hi Emcee2k and Welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope you like it here and stick around. If you want, you can leave a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself to everyone. You may also want to take the Wikipedia:Tutorial for tips on editing. It gives a lot of basic info you'll want to help you get oriented on Wikipedia.

You can sign your name on talk pages by using three tildes (\" ~~~ \") for your username and four (\" ~~~~ \") for your username and a timestamp. If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Wikipedia:Help desk. You can also drop me a question on my talk page.

Happy editing and I hope you stick around and keep contributing to Wikipedia. — Graibeard 05:33, 14 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia needs you

[edit]

Hi, Emcee2k. You have helped with a number of articles in the past, but you haven't edited any articles in a while. Could you make some new contributions soon to help make Wikipedia better?

  • Check out your watchlist or your prior contributions to help you find articles that need work.

I hope you decide to become a more active contributor again. Feel free to drop me a line on my talk page. -- ForteTuba 05:07, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Image670866x.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Image670866x.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 15:41, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:WalkTheLine1956.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 10:23, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
