Project News Recent Project news: The project is still in the process of reassessing a bunch of articles already tagged as Start-Class, to C-Class. Please help out! Animum created a new script for the project that helps out with tagging WikiProject Arkansas articles. Go and thank him! 2 users have joined the project, User:OverlordQ and User:DH Michaels, making the total member count 25! DH Michaels is new to Wikipedia as well as this WikiProject. Make him feel welcome! Chetblong is currently clearing out Category:Unassessed Arkansas articles, and has gotten to the letter K already. Help him out! The project now has another Featured List! List of Arkansas Razorbacks in the NFL Draft was promoted last week, bringing the total FL count to 2.	Featured article Featured Arkansas article of the month: This list of Arkansas Razorbacks in the NFL Draft includes every former Arkansas Razorbacks player who has been drafted into the National Football League (NFL) since the league began holding drafts in 1936.[a] The University of Arkansas has drafted 245 players into the NFL, but none has ever been selected with the first overall selection. The Razorbacks' highest draft position was second overall in 1954, when Lamar McHan was selected by the Chicago Cardinals. Arkansas' first drafted player in the NFL was Jack Robbins, who was the fifth overall pick by the Chicago Cardinals in 1938. Six players were selected from the 2008 NFL Draft; the highest selection being running back Darren McFadden, who was picked fourth overall by the Oakland Raiders. (more...)	State News Recent state news: Suspect in eight murders arrested in Illinois, United States: Following a manhunt in two states, police have arrested Nicholas Troy Sheley whom authorities suspect in eight murders in the United States. The FBI launched the manhunt on Tuesday after four victims were discovered on June 30, 2008. Wikinews needs more coverage on Arkansas, maybe you would like to help out?

Wikimania1011, I have noticed that the California Schools WikiProject (started by you) has become stagnant. With your permission, I would like to take over this Project from you and help it to grow. You can still work in the project, though.
