APOEL Voleyball Club is the volleyball team of APOEL, the Nicosia based sport club. Founded in 1926, it is one of the oldest volleyball clubs in Cyprus. APOEL was a founding member of the Cyprus Volleyball Federation.
History
APOEL VC won 8 championships (1 held by SEGAS, 1 by the Greek Volleyball Federation and 7 by the Cyprus Volleyball federation) and 5 Cups. Mainly the peak years for the APOEL volleyball team were between 1980-1990. Since then some good years were made by the team but without any title outcome. In the current season APOEL relegated to 2nd Division. This is the only time any team from the APOEL multisport club was relegated.
